As collagen levels begin to decline and sun damage and hormones leave the skin vulnerable to repetitive facial movements, crow’s feet develop. Blinking, smiling, squinting, and laughing exasperate the development of these fine lines. Crow’s feet can appear as early as 20 years of age. Dr. Barbarino’s technique includes use of neuromodulators, typically Xeomin®, into the crow’s feet and areas of concern to prevent the targeted muscles from contracting and to help eliminate unwanted lines. Once injected, fine lines become less visible and smoother, and the face appears more relaxed and rested. Dr. Barbarino’s Xeomin patients notice the result lasts up to six months.

Neuromodulators are used to treat frown lines, crow’s feet, and wrinkles. Neuromodulators are injected directly into the muscle around the treatment area, causing it to relax and gradually reduce the wrinkles. Dr. Barbarino’s unique technique using diluted Xeomin typically last from 4-6 months.
View Before and AftersA thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure to tighten up loose or wrinkled skin on the face, jowls, and neck. The threads regenerate collagen, rejuvenate, and enhance the facial appearance. Thread lifts require no incisions or stitches and produce no scars. Dr. Barbarino inserts a thin needle with barbs(hooks) under the facial tissues. The hooks grab hold of the skin and pull to re-suspend the skin, lift, and anchor the facial tissue in a more youthful position. The threads last six months to one year, dissolve, and build collagen. And, often the procedure is referred to as the lunchtime facelift, as it takes approximately one hour to perform.
